I’ve worn many design hats over the years, starting in the traditional print publishing world, then freelancing for many years—often for romance writers!—while I was a writer myself. I then transitioned back into in-house work for mission-driven nonprofits in Eugene, first in the organic sector, then moving to the YMCA. While freelancing had its benefits, I thrive in a team, bouncing ideas off fellow creatives and collaborating across departments to bring stories to life.
