YMCA Spring Appeal 2025

Bonus campaign! I loved working on this colorful suite of design elements and digital programming. No print pieces were produced for the Spring Appeal, but have a scroll through if you’re interested.

Overall Look

This energizing floral theme was based on several collections of vector art that were easy to adapt to the Y’s vibrant rainbow of a palette. The designs were all built in Adobe CC, mainly Illustrator. I leaned in fully to the “spring” motif and proposed we go with a “Generosity in Bloom” tagline for our communications, which the Philanthropy team loved. The Y was between Marketing and Communications Managers during this time, and I took the lead on all deliverables, and also assisted with copywriting and editing.

We got great feedback from members on these highly visible and energetic pieces, which kept the lobby and our social channels looking like gardens in full bloom through the Spring Appeal.

Digital Screens

In May and June, these screens populated the “Here For Good” wall, a digital installation in the Y’s lobby, rotating through four separate stories, plus shared call-to-action screens. These stories highlighted calendar year 2024 impact numbers and stories relevant to a particular topic: the Y itself, Youth Programs, Specialty Fitness Programs, and Community Building.

Story 1: The Y

Story 2: Youth Programs

Story 3: Specialty Fitness Programs

Story 4: Community Building

Social Media Graphics

These assets ran on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and were accompanied by copy customized by channel and audience. The copy was drafted by the Philanthropy team and myself.

Email Marketing

Lastly, I created custom floral headers and other elements for our email marketing during this campaign. Here is a small sampling:

Thanks for checking out this bonus content! Being solely digital, it didn’t quite fit the bill for the samples requested, but I couldn’t resist sharing. Head back to the 12 Days of Giving page here.
